Madden NFL 16 Primer: Why 'Draft Champions' Matters

Madden 15 Bucs Ratings

The Bucs have serious potential at WR.
The Bucs have serious potential at WR.

Madden 15 Bucs ratings have arrived on shore, and there’s plenty to like, and plenty to dislike in this year’s ratings for Tampa Bay Buccaneers fans. It’s time to dig into what EA has in store for fans in this year’s upcoming NFL football video game.

We already know that rookie WR Mike Evans will be a beast in this year’s game, in fact some might argue he’s even better than Sammy Watkins as far as Madden skills are concerned (I know, because I did argue that). It’s not just the Mike Evans show on this roster, however. Newly-signed QB Josh McCown got a lot of love with an 83 overall rating, and DT Gerald McCoy is one of the best DTs in the game.

At 4-12 last season, the Bucs didn’t exactly land where they wanted, and injuries to key players like RB Doug Martin (89 overall) certainly didn’t help. Still, with talent at the receiver position, at running back, and on defense it’s clear this team will see lots of use in Madden NFL 15.

Mike Evans will be such a beast. And Dougie-Doug Martin looks to be a rare combo of breakaway speed and brute force. Will make an effort to get them in my Fantasy Draft CFM. Lavonte David is the forgotten asset on that Bucs defense.

Austin seferian jenkins. Should be faster n more explosive but besides that ratings are fine.

  • David Oker

Mason Foster is very underrated here. Lavonte’s man coverage is underrated.
Dt Gerald McCoy’s finess moves are low as are De Means. I can see how De Soloman’s ratings are not very high; but, those should change as the season continues. Dt McDonald is a 4.7 forty guy; his speed rating is clearly way down.

  • Keith Moore

I feel you man Foster should be a little higher! He has had a pair of pick six’s!!

  • Eli Miller

Gotta say as a long time UW fan Jenkins is a solid 83-86 speed. First round all world talent. Good draft Bucs.

why did Bobby Rainey go from 90 OVR to 73
