Madden NFL 16 Primer: Why 'Draft Champions' Matters

Madden 15 Eagles Ratings

The Philadelphia Eagles ratings have landed.
The Philadelphia Eagles ratings have landed.

Madden 15 Eagles ratings have soared onto the scene along with the rest of the NFC East today, and for Philly fans that means a first look at just how good some key players will be in this year’s football video game from EA.

The Philadelphia Eagles did quite well last season, ending up 10-6 and finishing first in a notoriously tough division (even if the records of the teams don’t always reflect it). This season’s Eagles have quite a few intruiging pieces in Madden NFL 15, like RB LeSean McCoy who is one of the best backs in the game at the moment, and rookie WR Jordan Matthews, who they hope will one day fill some of the hole left by the departure of DeSean Jackson this offseason.

While the loss of DeSean Jackson certainly hurts the Eagles from a Madden perspective, the sudden rise of QB Nick Foles certainly more than makes up for it. Foles had a historic year in 2013, and certainly earned the right to have his name mentioned among the upper echelon of QBs. With another year of proving ahead of him, Foles could very quickly become one of the top few QBs in the game, should he be able to repeat (or even come close) to his epic 2013 campaign.

    Kendricks got robbed.

  • RTP210

Kendricks and Ertz are very underrated. Lane Johnson didn’t progress at all either.

  • Eric

What the hell is a vertical offense. Are they that afraid to put the term spread offense in the game?

  • Dean_17

stats should be by pro football focus and they had brandon boykin as almost the best cover corner behind sherman, he should be at lease 85 ovr+

  • That Nigga Toguro

    Wtf demeco isn’t even a 80 Connor Barwin is a 83 but Trent is a 89?

  • Sir Chiffy Loudlung

Most of the stats are same as last yr give or take a point. D.Ryan got push back the most from 83/84 to a 77 but N.Carroll should be higher like a 78/79 and J.Huff should b a 68-70 but once season start they will adjust any so no biggie. I just can’t wait to play, it’s football season #flyeaglesfly

Crazy good running team…really going to take advantage of this team. They have no flaws madden wise besides safety, but just user 1 safety and you only have 1 hole on the defense. Really excited to use them.

Kendricks should at least be a 80, Boykin at 85. Peters at 96 lane at 85. Herremans at 86. Ryans at 84. Carey at 85 and Ertz at 83. They all got robbed, we r way better than Madden is making us look
