Madden NFL 16 Primer: Why 'Draft Champions' Matters

Madden 15 Giants Ratings

The New York Giants have some strong pieces in Madden 15.
The New York Giants have some strong pieces in Madden 15.

Madden 15 Giants ratings have stomped their way in today, along with the rest of the AFC and NFC East. Are the New York Giants a team worth playing this year in Madden NFL? Who are the best rated players, and who does EA need to rate a little better? It’s time to find out.

Finishing with a 7-9 record last year, the Giants didn’t quite live up to expectations. While the Giants lost WR Hakeem Nicks to free agency, it’s a loss that probably impacts them more in Madden than in the NFL field, which in this case isn’t good. The team did, however, acquire some serious young talent in WR Odell Beckham in the draft to go alongside established playmakers like WR Victor Cruz.

Out of all the teams in the NFC East, the Giants are probably the most work-in-progress from a Madden perspective, with the Cowboys, Eagles and Redskins all with perhaps some more intriguing video game talent. Still, there’s definitely a lot of impact players on this roster, like CB Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie, and DE Jason Pierre-Paul.

terrible ratings, Elis deep ball is his best thrown ball but ranked as his worst, he had one bad season but should be atleast ranked as a top 10 qb. Cruz should be atleast a 92 averaging 1200 yards a season, and was the only bright spot of a broken offense last year. Beatty is a better pass blocker than run blocker but they didnt get that right either. Beason is better than a 79. Antrel Rolle should be in the 90s with his amazing performance last year. Rodgers Cromartie was PFFs 6th ranked corner last year but only gets an 87. Odell Beckham Jr. has a faster 40 time than cruz but has a lower speed rating. I will not buy this game because of how terrible the ratings are. Do your homework next time.

Can’t believe the ratings this year beason only a 79 did ea see him play same thing for antrel rolle wth

      • Brandon Ragland

Yeah its kind of bullshit, beason is a nice LB. I remember on 12 he was like a 94 or something ovl.

Its sad that a backup has better stats than eli. Nassib is a better qb in 15 lol. Thats messed up.

Madden games always rank Giant players and teams low. Even after winning the Super Bowl the giants were not the too team. As far as Eli’s ratings what a joke that is.
Maybe they will fix it with the roster updates. Wonder what the playbook will be like. I was always a fan of the old playbook for the giants in madden

Eli deserves better. 81 is an insult. He does what he can with the cards he was dealt. I could see 84 at the worst closer to 87. Big Ben had 1 more win last year and is a 90 (which he deserves). I am not a NYG fan but that is an insult to a great QB.
