Madden NFL 16 Primer: Why 'Draft Champions' Matters

Madden 15 Jaguars Ratings

The Jaguars have young players across the board, which makes for harsh ratings.

Madden 15 Jaguars ratings probably aren’t as exciting to fans as the world’s largest video board that was unveiled this past week at EverBank field, but hey, they aren’t a bad consolation prize if you didn’t make the show. And we’ve got them all right here, in full, to be picked apart, analyzed and discussed.

EA’s Jags ratings aren’t supposed to be out quite yet, but we’ve secured access to them a bit early, and we’re giving fans a sneak peek ahead of the ratings release today. For the rest of the teams in the AFC and NFC South, you’ll have to wait for EA SPORTS’ big reveal today, as we won’t release any more out of respect for their schedule.

The Jacksonville Jaguars got off to a bad start in 2013, putting themselves on an early pace to be regarded as the worst team of all time. Heading into the BYE week at 0-8, there was a lot that needed correcting. The ship, however, would right itself under the coaching of Gus Bradley and the talent influx from GM Dave Caldwell, and by the end of the season the Jags finished on a 4-4 run.

There’s no question the Jaguars need to gather more talent on both sides of the ball, and it appears they are doing that. Rookie QB Blake Bortles offers future potential for the Jags on Madden, and has even been described as a “Mini Andrew Luck” by ratings czar Donny Moore. The second-round receiving duo of Marqise Lee and Allen Robinson will also be interesting to see develop throughout the season, both in the real NFL and in Madden ratings.

How the hell is posluszny 82!!? He was 1st in overall tackles 2nd in overall combined! I think he had a hell of a year! 82!! No way! He should be top 10.

Paul Posluszny led the NFL in solo tackles with 122, 2nd in combined tackles with 162, 11 PDef 2 Int 1 TDs & 1 FF last year & he has a overall of 82 and 87 in tackling!!! Really??? He played better in Patrick Willis, NaVorro Bowman, Jerod Mayo, and Derrick Johnson. At the very least he should have a 90 overall and 95 tackling!!! Give credit where credit is due, I don’t care if he is on a the Jaguars or not he played excellent this year! Give him what he deserves!!!

Johnathan Cyprien was easily top 2 best rookie Safety last year and look how they tried him

  • Jeremy Porter

how is marquise Lee 89 speed?Bortles will quickly have his awareness upgraded. My only concern is the unrealistic speeds being attributed to the wide receivers.however if the Madden ratingsare adjusting weekly like last year then I have hopes that they will be more accurately displayed.
