San Francisco 49ers QB Colin Kaepernick hit it big yesterday when it was announced he signed a new $126 million dollar contract extension, and EA Sports thought that made a great segue to unveil its Madden 15 screenshot to fans.

Madden 15’s take on Kaepernick hit the Twitter scene yesterday in a pretty out-of-the-blue moment. “Kapernick’s new contract changes the game, so does Madden 15” read the tweet from EA’s official Madden NFL account. Not only does the new screenshot reveal a significant upgrade in graphics from the previous year, but it also highlighted something that has been missing in Madden games — player tattoos.

Tattoos like the ones which grace the arms of Kaepernick are part of a player’s identity these days, especially when you play a position like quarterback in one of the most respected and revered franchises in history. The new screenshot is also the first somewhat-significant slice of the game we’ve seen this year, which is a year that has seen the Madden hype train start up modestly slow.

OperationSports went ahead and put up a comparison between Colin Kaepernick in Madden 15 and last year’s special Madden 25 edition, so you can see for yourself just how much of an improvement we’re seeing this time around. Keep in mind that with E3 2014 just days away, it’s expected that much more will be revealed very shortly.

Is this next gen or television preview images. I mean madden can tune in all the pushed graphics but if the game doesn’t honestly have that true to life football MONDAY NIGHT, THURSDAY NIGHT AND SUNDAY NIGHT FEEL………It’ll be another Madden reincarnation…..Made from used parts and me being a madden player for years…..just getting tired of the add and subtract from Madden.

I mean I like others would really like to see football as it is…….FOOTBALL! Madden has been skating by for years adding a little salt here and a little pepper….marketing BIG names to sale a used product……I spend my money on it cause I love football but I can promise Mr Madden this, if 2k Sports can create a football setup using NFL players names and stadiums as madden does, with the same hard ball and great look as the nba 2k franchise……….I’LL BE JUMPING SHIP MADDEN MY BOY. I MEAN FROM TATS TO ON COURT TALKING TO CROWD CHEERS ANIMATION AND MOVEMENT TO DIE FOR AN PLAYERS THAT DON’T ALL LOOK THE SAME……………..MADDEN WOULD NEED A NEW SUPPORT TEAM……….SERIOUSLY. I MEAN EA HAS BEEN JERKING US REAL FOOTBALL GAMERS FOR WAY TO LONG…….SO MADDEN STEP UP……..OR GET GONE……….BYE FOR NOW…….MADDEN?????
